The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazing Lash Studio (New York, NY) in Apr 2018
Interview
I received an interview shortly after applying online. My interview was with the owner & store manager. Interview was pretty easy going, mostly talked about me work experience and customer service. They then asks to do a 3 day “ training try out”. Day 1 I was taught all about the company, lash styles, technique & product. We then practiced on a mannequin head. Day 2 & 3, I brought in models (6 in total) and practiced on them while the trainer over saw. At the end of day 3, I was told I was hired and they would continue to train me for another week.

Very Simple and to the point. First was a virtual interview via Zoom where they asked about your experience, why you would like to work with the company and your goals. Second was an evaluation with the trainers present to observe your lash technique.

Question 1
Are you a certified by the state with a cosmetology or esthetician license?
They are very informative worndrrful and it is a unique experience to work there. Demanding but worth it to practice your craft. I think it wasn’t a horribly long time until hearing back at all. You speak to the manager then owners then you’re hired if you’re the right fit.
