Question 1
Raccontami una volta che hai avuto a che fare con informazioni insufficienti.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Singapore) in Nov 2024
Interview
1) Standard online application through Career portal.
2) Screening call with HR, told more about the role but also asked technical questions around my experience, similar style to the interviews in stage 4.
3) Written task. Was asked to complete this without much warning 3 days before I was due to start "The Loop" interviews and the instructions asked that it be submitted 2 days before the first interview, essentially giving me 1 day to do it. Was presented with two "essay" questions and asked to answer just one. Similar question style to the interviews e.g. What is the most inventive or innovative thing you have done?. They give lots of guidance around how to answer the question and what they're looking for.
4) "The Loop", 5x 1hr interviews with colleagues from the team I was applying to, as well as one non-team colleague. Usually these are held onsite in one day, but mine were all virtual and held over two weeks. These were in-depth interviews, each lasting the full hour. I was asked 3-4 questions per interview based on Amazon's 16 Leadership Principles e.g. tell me about a time where you applied a novel approach to a problem. They asked for example after example, and encourage candidates to follow the STAR method.
