I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2014
Interview
First round: two back-to-back 30 minute interviews on campus. A mix of behavioral and "case" questions. I received word later that evening that I'd move on to the second round interviews the next day.
Second round: two additional back-to-back 30-45 minute interviews on campus. Not significantly more detailed or difficult than the previous day's interviews, but with slightly more senior interviewers.
The "case" questions were much less involved/less structured than a consulting case interview, but still required carefully thinking through certain business scenarios in Amazon's retail business, describing all of the elements I would want to consider, thinking about what sort of data I'd need, and how I'd reach a decision.
Amazon is very interested in creating the best consumer experience and making data-driven decisions, so keep those points in mind throughout the interviews.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to convince people using data.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2020
Interview
Online application form, personality assessment, a simulation assessment, and then 2 separate interviews. Overall the process was straightforward and well organised. My only complaint is that you need to rank order the programs you're interested in. I wasn't interested the RLDP program but I selected it as my second option. They wanted me to move forward with the position but I was interested in FLD instead. Just make sure you understand which program you were selected to interview for - it may not be your top choice.

Interview
I took an online assessment and then was invited a couple months later to a first round of interviews ((two interviews, 45 minutes each). Two days later I was invited to a final round of interviews the following Monday (same formate as the first round; one of the interviewers was a senior director). Two days later I was notified of the final decision.
