I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2015
Interview
The process is long and different. They are overwhelmed by need and applicants and haven't scaled to respond quickly. The phone screen is less about what you have done that how you have done it or reacted to situations. The "Loop" is a long day of up to 10 30 -45 min conversations about the Amazon Leadership principles. You must have answers for each principal and about how you handled a situation, not your team. Some have a presentation to do or if technical an architecture to provide. It isnt easy getting past any stage.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you didn't agree with your manager and went ahead with your idea, how did that end up?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
The hiring manager wasn’t structured, didn’t sell me the role and kept repeating himself that amazon cares about data.. it was strange also that the hiring manager introduced himself but didnt ask me to share my story.. I withdrew my application and dint continue the process.

Question 1
What are your top strengths from leadership principals?
The process took very long. After each phone interview it took them 2 weeks to invite me to the next one. In this sense they did not respect their KPIs. The Interview questions were repetitive tbh. They were asking the same thing over and over via different people. But most of the interviewers were very friendly.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (London, England) in Jun 2020
Interview
The most unprofessional interview I had with company for ages. It changed completely my perception about the company and the callibare and professionalism of the people involved in the process.
