Interview
Went through 2 phone screenings, both structured similarly. You spend around 10-12 minutes on 3 behavioral questions and then they leave some time for you to ask questions at the end. The questions are all based around their leadership principles. The first round seemed to focus on my process and work ethic, the second was more focused on challenges and weaknesses. Overall both interviewers were kind, on time and seemed very engaged and attentive. I was a little disappointed by the recruiting side of things. Poor communication, little desire to help you prepare for the interview, changing recruiters midway without notification, and slow follow up. After the second interview I was told they would get back to me within 5 business days or less. I didn't hear back at all from the team or either recruiters. I ended up checking my account later to see I wasn't selected. The interview itself was positive, but was surprised at the lack of professionalism and structure in their recruiting process.

Question 1
Tell me a time you weren't able to follow through on a commitment you made to a superior or team member.
The interview was a great experience and offered valuable learning opportunities. The interviewers were extremely kind, supportive, and helpful throughout the process. However, I realized the importance of staying highly focused and precise, especially when delivering STAR-based answers. Accuracy and clarity in structuring responses play a crucial role, and candidates should remain attentive to ensure their answers align with the question.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Long interviews, mainly behavioral questions. Overemphasis on STAR-format answers. Cold and overly formal structure that feels artificial and soulless. No feedback if you’re rejected despite all the time and effort you gave them.

Worked with a recruiter who was great! Had an interview scheduled but it was cancelled by the company at the last minute. The application/personality test process was extensive and very detailed, took over two and a half hours to thoughtfully complete.
