I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2009
Interview
Very disorganized. The group that wanted me for the job disagreed with the group that would "own" me - it was more important that I fit in with the group I reported to than with the group I'd really be working with. Turf building more important than deliverables.
The two groups ended up fighting in front of me during the interview. Very unprofessional.
