I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon (Tokyo) in Dec 2020
Interview
1st interview: 45min behavioral interview with the Hiring Manager (Sr. Fin Analyst)
2nd interview: 45min Excel skills test with Fin. Analyst: Deviation analysis that required use of Sum Ifs -- 30min allotted for the test, 15min to do a walk through
Loop interview scheduled:
3rd interview: 45min behavioral with Bar Raiser + Bar Raiser in training (Interview was led by the bar raiser)
4th interview; 45min behavioral with a Sr. Program Manager of DSP
5th interview: 45min behavioral with a Sr. Fin Manager
Unfortunately the only feedback I got for the rejection was that I didn't do well on the 15min walk through of the Excel skills test! Kind of puzzled since I was told I passed that and made it to loop.
Just a good lesson that they may check interviews before the Loop when making a final decision

Financial analyst intern, online assessment was based on leadership principles, look at the website for these. Excel and SQL. Probability and analytic skills. Choosing the best reply in different scenarios etc.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2026
Interview
Straightforward process:
1. introduction 2. Why Amazon? Why ads? + three somewhat complex BQ questions 4. a short case study 5. My turn to ask questions.
Prepare your BQ really good and go learn the LPs cuz I definitely failed that part and was confused by myself during the storytelling.
