I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to interview for Amazon as they were hiring for several locations. The recruiter explained that the interview process would be a minimum of 4 rounds excluding initial phone interview and online assessment. After completing the phone screening and passing the online assessment, I was scheduled for my next round of interviews which were four weeks away. I studied all of the material and subjects that were provided, as well as my own supplemental material (gfg, youtube, etc). Approximately a week before the final interviews, I receive an email informing me that they have cancelled and will reach out to me to reschedule. I reached out after two weeks of not hearing any updates and they basically ghosted me. Such a frustrating experience after being told that I aced the online assessment and after I prepared for weeks to ace my interviews and get a job offer. Mind you before this, the recruiter and hr manager sent me 2-3 emails daily to attend a study session and make sure I was studying the right material to perform well in the interviews. After they cancelled, I never heard from them again.
