I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Bengaluru) in Feb 2022
Interview
1. Hiring manager approached via Linkedin to register interest.
2. Company HR is kinda invisible, only co-ordinator got in touch to schedule the rounds.
3. In total had 4 rounds of interview and was ghosted after the 4th interview.
4. Plus take home written exercise - taking examples from past on 2 leadership principles.
1 screening round followed by 1 detailed hiring manager and 2x System design rounds. All interviewers except the hiring manager seemed very mechanical in their questioning style. Rather than having a discussion with the candidate, they were busy filling out a detailed form for Company repository. Very unorganized interview process, not sure if the values interviewers exhibit are pertinent to 16 leadership principles. Wasted time in the interview process - alteast respect the time /effort spent by the candidate by letting them know the feedback.

Interview
Lots of "story telling" they don't care about what you would do. Only "tell me a time you...". They take their time to interview and encourage many many weeks between rounds. The people and interviewers were extremely robotic and don't make it so you want to work there. Their reputation doesn't help either.
