The interview process was chaotic. The recruiter initially reached out to me about this opportunity. After a brief discussion on LinkedIn, they shared a link to an online assessment. I completed the coding portion (two questions), but it didn't proceed to the next sections. The questions were quite easy. A couple of days later, I received a notification that the assessment link would expire soon and that I needed to complete it if I was still interested. Thinking this was a mistake, I clicked the link again. This time, it included the coding part (new questions), system design questions, and behavioral questions (they had sent me the leadership principles to review in advance). It took me almost four hours to complete.
After finishing, I quickly received a notification that I had passed and needed to provide my availability for the next round. I did so, but they scheduled the interview outside of my availability window. I requested a reschedule, and eventually, they set it up correctly. However, on the interview day, the interviewer didn't show up. I waited for 40 minutes and sent emails to both the recruiter I had spoken with on LinkedIn and the one who scheduled the interview. They responded a couple of days later, suggesting it might have been a technical issue on my end (which I am certain it wasn't), and rescheduled the interview.
I finally had the second round (live coding). The interviewer was very friendly and helpful, and the task was quite easy. I finished early, and after discussing the next steps, the interviewer suggested I ping the recruiter in a few days as he had made his decision. I followed up once and received no response. I followed up a second time, and they added another recruiter to the thread, but still no answer. It's been three months now, and I don't think they will get back to me with any feedback.
