I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Invited to an in-person interview after giving my resume at a career fair. Two back to back 45 minute coding challenges with no break in between. In both interviews I was asked to write code on a white board (so didn't need to write include statements, main etc., but they were looking for it to be able to compile otherwise) First question was string manipulation, second was implementing a hash table with some added features. In both interviews I could use whatever I wanted from the STL.
Both interviewers were really friendly, and gave me hints when I was stuck. They were really encouraging and liked hearing my thought process. I haven't heard back yet!
It started with an OA, and then after a few weeks, I got invited to four rounds of interviews: technical and behavioral at 3 of the 4, and behavioral only at one.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Jun 2026
Interview
Empresa extremamente clara sobre o que é pedido na entrevista e isso me mostra a seriedade. Minha experiencia foi positiva e tente se atentar a resolver o problema e não somente decorar padrões do leetcode.

Interview
Online Assessment is the first step in the process. I didn’t have an HR phone screening and went straight to the OA after applying. It was sent to me about a week after I submitted my application.

Question 1
The first question is LeetCode style algorithms question, and the second question gives a full stack repo (choice of Java, NodeJS, or Django) and asks to solve a backend issue which is causing a bug in the frontend. Unit tests must pass to pass the second question. You can run both backend/frontend indivdually or together
