Interview
The hiring process consists of applying, then talking to a recruiter, followed by a phone interview and finally 5 live interviews on Amazon Chime. During this process you have to also provide a writing sample. All of this takes a couple months and uses a lot of your time you could be using to get another job.
AWS is a cult and unless you drink the kool-aid from the start and are able to be in one of their diversity groups you won’t be hired as only diverse candidate are welcomed.

Interview
Receive an email to provide availability for a meeting, I had to go through 3 back and forth till it was scheduled. Interview with Hiring manager then loop interviews process, if you pass all then you receive an offer. Despite having learned about Amazon leadership processes and practiced for the interview, it seems the interviewee expected to hear answers in a specific way.

The process was not super transparent, and they weren't very communicative. Also couldn't get a great sense of the role and what exactly they were looking for in terms of seniority (conflicting info).
