I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services in Nov 2022
Interview
Classic Amazon interview process, the the final loop. The interview is difficult, you have to prepare carefully and structure your answers on their principle. Technically if you have a good background isn't really hard, no coding questions. I passed the interview and theoretically should got an offer but in that week started the aws layoffs so i was put on waiting. Just annoyed that i had to spend something like 3 weeks for nothing even tho was good interview practice and i know that i can pass it next time .
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were about what are all the parts needed to create a simple website on the lines of amazon and what is happening under the hood. So what happen when you login, what request are made, where the request goes, load balancers , servers, db ecc. Just general knowledge that a cloud architect should know.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (São Paulo, São Paulo) in Sep 2025
Interview
A tough process for nothing! I received an email from the hiring team that I was approved, but the offer never came.
That was so frustrating because I was really excited to be part of the team.
Technical questions were involved, but focus was more on cultural fit. Look into leadership principles and formulate your experiences around how you have demonstrated those principles. Overall a great experience.
