I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2024
Interview
4 Rounds of Interview. 1st round was a standard Job assessment that basically highlighted Amazon's leadership principles. Followed by 2 technical with behavioral sprinkled in and final round was an interview with HR.
The interview process started with a recruiter phone screen going over my resume and interest in cloud computing. The final interview was mainly behavioral with some light technical questions related to AWS fundamentals, networking basics, and troubleshooting scenarios. They focused heavily on communication skills, problem-solving approach, and customer-facing situations. It felt more like a conversation about how I think rather than deep technical grilling.
