Amazon Web Services Process Improvement Specialist interview questions

Phone interview with an in-house recruiter; Chime interview with hiring manager; final loop interview via Chime. I also had to complete an irrelevant "skills assessment" that was a wonky scenario about answering emails at work. The first two interviews had some job-related questions but the final loop interview was all about the Leadership Principles. The final loop included several employees who hardly knew the job I was going for, not one was a part of the team I'd be joining (aside from the hiring manager), and also who I would not be working with at Amazon. Some were polite and professional while others were outright rude and thought it was okay to cut me off mid-answer and be very "aggressive" in their questioning (power trip? not sure). Some candidates find the final round to be a good experience - and for some it could be - but when the questions have very little to do with the role, it just becomes a "game" - who can formulate 20+ "stories" and weather the storm of five 45-minute interviews back-to-back. I truly wish Amazon would temper this asinine approach by making it a little more "normal". I also think they are looking for a certain "fit" and you can read into that what you will. I didn't get an offer and no feedback was given so I still have no idea why I was passed over. I guess this approach works for Amazon but in reviewing their extremely high turn-over rate... does it really?
