I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ameren (Champaign, IL) in Apr 2016
Interview
The interviewing process was pretty straightforward. It consisted of first a phone screen interview and then a one to one with the hiring manager. The phone screen asked for some information regarding grades, past experience, etc. Then, the main interview with the hiring manager was scheduled about a week later.
Knowledgeable management, good conversation and didn’t ask too difficult of questions. My experience was overall pleasant. I had some insight from a friend who interned the summer before me and she gave me some tips on how I should approach the interview.
There are two interviews, one is an HR Interview and Interview with the Engineering Manager. The HR interview is a behavourial interview and the interview with the engineering manager is more technically focused.
