I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at American Cancer Society (Austin, TX) in Jun 2012
Interview
Recruiter contacted me approximately 5 days after submission of application. We went over the typical rigmarole (basic requirements, eligibility, etc.) to ensure that I qualified. Afterwards, we set up a 20 minute phone interview for the very next day, which was pretty straightforward and basic: why are you interested, have you ever been terminated, etc.
Once passing the phone screening, we set up an in-person interview for a few days later. Interview was one-on-one, and was also pretty standard: leadership ability, integrity, personality type, competence.
