I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Baltimore, MD) in Jun 2009
Interview
I went into the store, filled out an application and a few days later was called for a group interview. There were about 6 other people there and the interview was held by one of the store managers. She asked questions that focused more on our personality and style, with a few geared toward customer service. The interview ended and as soon as I got home, I received a call from the manager telling me I was hired.

I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Victor, NY)
Interview
Very chill. Wear something that they would sell at AEO, don't wear full business attire. They asked very standard questions and hired me on the spot. They just want to get to know you and aren't testing any sales skills.
