I was actually buying an item and they asked me if I was looking for a job. They really watch you in the store and they want people that are positive, bubbly, out going, and friendly. And if you show them that in the store there is a possibility they will ask if you have a job! Otherwise if you come in they give you a little card with minimal information to fill out which is their screen process, they are watching your personality to see if you are someone that will work well with the people in the store. When you bring that in or sign it out near them they will talk to you and see your personality and decide if they want to give you the actual application for the job. After this they usually will call you on the phone and sometimes they will just call to ask you to come in for orientation. They are really really really big on first impressions from the time you walk in the store to the moment you walk out. I personally got asked as I said and was given only the actual application and then brought in directly for the orientation. But i have seen a lot of people com in and never come back or come back.
