I applied at the store and when I turned in my application, I was told to come for a group interview the next day. The manager interviewed two of us, and he asked us completely irrelevant questions. For instance, he spent several minutes quizzing me on things like whether or not I have parents, what their names are, if I have a brother, and so on. He spent the rest of the interview flirting with the other applicant and talking about how lousy their sales have been lately. He even went so far as to scoff at me when I did answer questions he asked. I haven't received any response from them yet, but I doubt I'd accept even if they offered me a job. It was completely unprofessional and I'm left wondering if I should even shop at the store anymore. He also asked us to talk about ourselves and what our favorite movies are. That was the extent of it. The person I perceived to be the assistant manager was nothing but kind and friendly, as well as professional. It is my great hope that others get interviewed by someone like this.
