I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Pittsburgh, PA) in Dec 2024
Interview
The hiring manager reached out to me about a few roles at the company and invited me to interview. You'll go through a call with the manager, Sparkhire interview + Excel test/Presentation, and additional interviews (if you passed the previous rounds). If a company does Hirevue or Sparkhire interviews instead of a virtual interview, I think that tells a lot about their hiring process.. The biggest red flag was applying at this company so many times in the past and getting no response. Based on my research, the overall company tends to hire those living in the Pittsburgh area or those who have involvement in sororities and fraternities. I believe the company is good overall but falls short in many areas of the business making their competitors stand out to the younger generation.

First round was a Hireview interview, retail math test, and trend forecasting project. Second round was a day long interview event with two individual interviews and a group project.
