Nothing out of the ordinary. Had previous experience in merchant pricing, so knew the ropes and AMEX very well, seemed as if call was routine and there was a preconceived decision not to proceed further. Waste of 4 weeks.

Interview
starts with a screening call to discuss your background and interests. This is followed by a technical assessment or case study to evaluate your analytical and Excel skills, often involving pricing scenarios or revenue optimization problems. Next, you may have interviews with hiring managers or stakeholders to assess business understanding, decision-making, and problem-solving. Finally, there’s often a culture fit or HR round to discuss values, working style, and salary expectations.
