I had a phone interview with a staffing agency. 2nd interview with AMEX in there building and was told that i was hired the next day. After that the recruiter said it may take a few weeks for processing my information. They need to get my start day and pay then after will do a background check. Left in the dark now. I've been applying for other places in the mean time. I have nothing in writing from Amex yet and it's been a week since they said I was hired. Just wondering if this happens often? Any suggestions?
