American Express visited our campus for the position of Software internships at Gurgaon/Bangalore Location. There were 3 rounds for selection in the company. The CGPA cutoff was 7 and computer science-related branches were allowed to apply for the test.
Round-1 (Online Test): The first round was an online test conducted which comprised 3 coding questions that had to be solved in a duration of 1hr 30 min.
Round-2 (Technical Interview Round-1): This round was a technical interview round. The interviewer asked me to give a brief introduction about myself. I started my introduction by telling most of the things that were written on my CV.
The overall experience was quite nice, questions were moderate to easy. The HR round also went smoothly. The interviewer was impressed by the answers to HR questions. They were quite welcoming. The interview environment wasn't frightening at all.

First round was with 2 representatives, around 30 mins each. Basic questions - why amex, why the role, past work ex and how it fits into the role, what your goal is, etc. Few behavioural questions like “tell me about a time when you faced conflict in the workplace and how you solved it” etc. Straightforward and welcoming
