      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at American Express (Sunrise, FL) in Mar 2026

      Interview

The process was great at the beginning but quickly fell off. You start with the phone screening in two phases and in the final one they let you know what to expect for the final interview, then they invite you to the campus for a session with other candidates. At this session it takes about 2 hours and they conduct more thorough interviews and ask you questions about your experience and want you to be as descriptive as possible. After this they send you home and you hear back if you get the position, this is where it fell off; they stated they were looking for a JUL class which was about 3 months from when the process happened and they said more info would be provided. The recruiter who I was paired with after the initial screening barely provided any info or updates and did not extend a formal offer in writing but they said that would happen closer to the class starting but the JUL class was cancelled after waiting, they then advised the new class looking at an AUG start. I was paired with a different recruiter out of nowhere and this recruiter soon let me know that the class was cancelled for AUG and that they had rescinded my offer.
