Recruiter reached out to me after cold applying setting up a 1hr interview. I followed back asking if there was anything I need to prepare/ any guidance on the format since it was an hour long. No response. The interviewer was unfriendly, didn't smile and made it seem like he didn't want to be there. However, ended it on a positive note saying I had some good skills and I should hear back about round 2 by the end of the week. 1 week passes with no response so I reached out to the recruiter asking for an update. No response. Then 3.5 weeks later I get an automated rejected without any feedback. Never experienced this with a big company and really wasn't expected such an impersonal rejection after practicing so much for the interview.
