I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at American Express (Kuala Lumpur) in Sep 2022
Interview
Was approached by the TA via phone call for a role that was filled up, hence, she called again for another vacancy and immediately set up the online interview for 2 days later. The information provided in the email was clear and detailed, which I really appreciate it. The interview took slightly more than an hour, with 3 persons, where 1 was the hiring manager, 1 was the department trainer and 1 was there as an observer. It was a very pleasant 1 hour+ interview with the hiring manager. I was informed that it will take 2-3 weeks to finalize but I did not receive any email until I wrote to the TA on the 3rd week, then received a separate email to inform me that I was not selected. I sure hope this message can be delivered to me earlier and not 3 weeks later. This is something your hiring team can look into it. Thank you.
I interviewed at American Express (Gurgaon, Haryana)
Interview
the interviewer was very understanding and polite, asked apt questions and was considerate . they even gave feedback post interview and were guiding on every step. overall a very great experience.
A phone interview and in person interview. The phone interview was brief. The in person interview was about 30 minutes. General questions for the phone interview and then more questions about collecting funds in person.
The interview process started with an email providing all the necessary details about the HireVue platform, where I had to complete a recorded video interview. The platform was user-friendly, and clear instructions were provided. The questions were a mix of behavioral and situational ones, focusing on problem-solving and financial analysis. After passing this stage, I was invited for a follow-up interview with a hiring manager. The entire process took about two weeks, and communication was smooth throughout.
