I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at American Express (New York, NY) in Oct 2022
Interview
Video call. 45 min. Standard questions about background and skills. Minimal conversation or authentic back and forth. There was no natural flow and it was rigid. Was standard and sort of boring. my interview wasn't great and went on to brag about herself for a while after.
The first thing was the recruiter phone that call was set up in the beginning, After that there were two more interviews with hiring manager and others from adjacent teams all behavioral. All 30 mins each.
