I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at American National Insurance (Springfield, MO) in Jan 2019
Interview
Must take keyboarding test to assess accuracy and wpm and personality test. Several interview panels with which your will be asked questions by 3 individuals from your hiring department. I truly asked more questions than my interviewers which should never happen and especially when there are 3 interviewers to one interviewee. I could tell that the Managers interviewing me were coming from a meeting or event that caused them alarm because they appeared more befuddled and nervous than myself. I honestly knew this was not somewhere i respected enough to call my employer after 5 minutes into the interview, but stayed so as not to be rude. The interviewers weren’t even wearing business casual attire, which might be due to some corporate scheduled jeans day.....but I didn’t see anyone in the corporate office dressed professionally. I actually saw a woman wearing what appeared to be a robe and crocs. I didn’t know if this was a corporate office or Wal-Mart around 3 am.

Question 1
How do you handle a client that refuses to cooperate?
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at American National Insurance (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2024
Interview
Applied on 8/31 and recruiter contacted for interview on 9/13. Went through two rounds of interviews, first was with recruiter screening a few days after being contacted and the second interview was held two weeks later with a department manager. Received news another candidate was selected toward the end of October. Please note that the company is going through some reorganization and anyone who is interested in applying should expect a lengthy recruitment period (6-8 weeks). However, anytime I asked for an update, recruiter responded promptly which is great. Finally, from my experience, manager(s) like to use the "give me a time..." questions and using the STAR method is beneficial.
