I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Red Cross
Interview
I applied online, and was called about a week later for a phone interview. The phone interview was with someone out of the area. She asked basic questions about license and availability, why I wanted to work for the RC, etc. She then set up an in person interview with a manager in the local office. I arrived and we talked for about an hour or so, even though she wasn't expecting me. I was given info about the job, the pay, hours, etc. and she asked me questions from a packet, such as how I handle conflict, how I would handle an upset donor, what would I do if someone passed out and was embarrassed. I was asked if I would have trouble correcting techniques or behavior of phlebotomists working with/under me. I asked her a few questions and we talked about Red Cross's mission. I was called with an offer on the next business day.

how would you handle it if you were charging and a repeat donor told you they didn't want to have the tech they had last time, because they got a bruise or vein was missed or something.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at American Red Cross
Interview
It was a hard interview. It was based on past behaviours. Behavioural questions are overrated. I can make up scenarios on the spot. As long as you have an idea of what to do in a presented situation what does it matter what you did in the past.
Mostly behavioral questions, a couple questions about yourself (strengths and weaknesses), and answering questions on how you deal with conflict and progressive discipline. Very straightforward interview and interviewer made me feel comfortable during the whole interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Red Cross in Jul 2022
Interview
Phone screen with HR, 2nd interview on Microsoft Teams with my direct supervisor, and final 3rd interview (Teams) with HR, supervisor, and supervisor’s supervisor. Offer came within 2-3 days! 2nd interview was more of an information session and so was the 3rd, I did get to ask questions though.
