I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I was asked very detailed questions about my interest in the job, availability, transportation and other obligations. She assessed on the spot that I was a match and continued to give me a brief overview of the job expectations, tour and daily duties. She was very informative, so I felt confident to start the next day. Later on, however, I realized that the info was indeed very brief and I was missing some vital directions to successfully work through the day. Thankfully she was available for follow up questions by phone - although I hated to do so.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Houston, TX) in Aug 2025
Interview
It was very simple I was just asked a few questions. Make sure you can talk about your past experiences and how you will contribute. Look presentable and kind! Also be sure to be on time as well.
