Talked to a recruiter first, which scheduled an interview. I went to the interview, which was very awkward and stuffy, with one person in the room and another on speaker phone. They did the long pauses between questions and even made strange looks to throw me off. I was even asked a poorly crafted question TWICE in a row, which made me think they weren't even listening. When I asked about what I would be doing on this job they said I would be hooking up routers and fixing printers; nothing to do with the job title.
I was left feeling discriminated and found it ironic that one of the interviewers went out of the way to rhetorically tell me how they "take care of their veterans" after the interview. Then was told I would be contacted a week later.
I received a declination letter in my email a month or two later and was told I didn't get the job "although my qualifications were impressive."
