I received an email to schedule a Zoom interview. After responding to the email, I received a response with a calendar invite. I logged into the Zoom session at the appropriate time with the provided link and no one showed up. I waited for 10 minutes. No phone call or email explaining the absence. I received an automated email a few weeks later saying the position had been filled and I was not selected.

Question 1
Basic questions about yourself and your experience with client services. Some questions related to scenarios. One of the big things here is meshing well with the team. They like personable people with a high level of business acumen and confidence.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Specialty Health in Jun 2021
Interview
I was invited to interview by HR. Had a phone screening first followed by a video panel interview. I was interrogated as they took turns reading questions from a list for almost an hour. At the end I was able to ask questions. When I asked "how soon are you looking to hire?", everyone shifted uncomfortably in their chairs. After an awkward silence, one of them rattled off about wanting to hire soon but not sure how long it'll take, etc.
Everyone on the panel had been promoted from another dept. Good for internal candidates but terrible for external candidates. I suspect I was invited to interview to fill some quota.
I received a rejection email within a couple of days. I don't think the position was actually open as someone internally likely was already chosen. I don't care if they promote internally, just don't waste my time for an entire hour. I could have spent that time interviewing for a position that actually needed to be filled. I was also ghosted by HR for another position (they no showed for the interview), so it seems they don't care about external candidates at all.
