I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Lincoln, RI) in Oct 2013
Interview
I approached the Amica Mutual table at my university's career fair where they talked to me for about 5 minutes and then proceeded to give me an on campus interview at my school. The interview was pretty straight forward, no question was that difficult, they were all pretty run of the mill questions. The interview lasted about half an hour and at the end of the interview they informed me that they wanted me to continue on to the next round of the interview process, where I wrote a paper and they did an initial background check and driving history check.
A week later, I found out that I was selected to get flown up to Rhode Island to headquarters for a final interview. Before departing, they gave me the contact information of two Senior Account Manager's to get in touch with and ask any more questions that I had.
Amica flew me up to Rhode Island and put me up in a hotel, which was really nice. The actual interview up there was three interviews that were 20 minutes long each. The interviews were conversational and everyone that I interviewed with was really easy to talk to. After coming back to school, the next day, Amica called me and offered me the position.
