The interview process involved four rounds over a one-month period. The first round was an onsite writing test and interviews with HR and a senior marketing officer. The second round was an offline interview with the line manager, followed by a third onsite interview with the marketing director. The final round was an interview with the General Manager of Amway Hong Kong Limited.
After the final interview, there was a three-week silence before HR extended an offer, requesting an immediate start. The initial offer was a 16% salary increase, which was at the low end of the 16-21% range I had requested on my application. When I attempted to negotiate for a 21% increase, the company withdrew the offer a few days later.
This was a very unusual management and operational process.
