I was recruited to interview for this position and was asked complete an assignment before speaking with the Marketing Manager. I received positive feedback for my work and was invited to complete the next step. The company has a set of founders so the interview questions were all situational. Nothing too hard to answer. However, I didn’t feel any passion or excitement from the interviewer. Ultimately, my application was declined and my recruiter and I were both shocked to hear. I noticed they had this job opening posted several times afterwards.. Overall I felt like it was extremely unfair of them to ask for work assignments before meeting with the marketing leads.
