I applied online. I interviewed at Amyris (Emeryville, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
Was interviewed twice before the panel interview. The first one was with the team and the latter one was with HR. Everyone was professional, nice, and friendly during the process.
it was very straight forward as this was an internal higher. I was already in the company in a different department before getting higher to my new role with in the company
Interviews went great with the team, with the final one being 3ish hours. I received a job offer that was generous, but HR gave an exploding job offer and was condescending when I asked for an extra day to think about it. It was clear after that that I was not interested in working somewhere where an extra day or two wouldn’t be respected by HR—made me feel replaceable and I wasn’t even an employee.
