I have personally checked on this and it appears that as you came through a third party recruiter, there was a communication to that recruiter and the expectation that they would then communicate that on to you. As that seems to have not happened, we have revised our policy and now communicate status updates directly to all candidates even if they come through a third party recruiter. As to the comment about spam, I'm not sure how you can spam through SEO, but that is definitely not our intention. We are a mission driven company and we want to make sure that anyone searching for a tool to reach a secure and uncensored internet will find us easily and achieve their goal.
