I got a message from an HR from LinkedIn, shared my resume, got a call and interview was scheduled for next day.
It was a video call based interview. The interview went horrible as the person who was on the interview seemed to be arrogant, doesn't even know how to take an interview, not even making a candidate feel comfortable, bombarding questions, confusing me in the code written, unable to assess my profile as to what different backgrounds i have worked upon and in the end boasting about himself and quoting that i don't want DEVS in the team who need to be spoonfed.
First teach your technical guys how to take an interview and be polite, it might be not the candidates day, if you think he is not prepared or didn't performed well in the interview, say some good words and motivate him to work harder.
If the candidate is looking for employment then you are also looking for a person to do your job.
If now only people are talking like this what will they do if a person joins them. This is just reflecting the kind of environment in the organization.
Please skip this company and look for a company where people are more humble.
