Following is a copy of the mail I had sent to the VP. I won't name anyone so I will just replace their name with x and y. Dear sir, You had interviewed me in the first week of July along with 'X' and 'Y' for a position in social media. At the time I was denied the position as I was not having my graduation certificate. But at the end of the month I got my result and mailed it to 'Y'. After that I got no response in the month of August. Then I received a Google meet invite on September 1. In this interview I was briefly told about my JD and was told my appointment is confirmed and then there was no response for the entire month of September. When I asked for an update on the situation I got a call from 'X' on 28 sept, she told me some HR formalities are pending, if not done by the HR she told me should give me the appointment letter instead. After that again there was no update from her end. A day before yesterday (October 18)I asked for an update on the situation, now 'X' told me "sorry for the inconvenience caused" and there is no vacancy, even though i am told that the position is still open. Sir, I hope you can understand my frustration because I declined 2-3 job offers in this period because of the assurance of appointment from the company and now out of the blue they are dropping me off. In this trying times I was unemployed for almost 3 months because of this assurance. I don't even understand the fact that my salary was decided and now all of a sudden there is no vacancy. Every time I asked I was told that VP has not signed on your appointment letter or HR formalities are pending and now after being stranded for 3 months I am dropped off. This deeply saddens me as I was not expecting this type of behavior from a highly reputed organization.
