Question 1
They were are really pretty basic questions. Why Angie's List, Strengths & Weakness, What keeps you motivated?
I had a phone interview with a recruiting company who works closely with Angie's List. We spoke for about an hour. Things went really well! He asked me all sorts of questions regarding my background and my previous sales experience. Nearing the end of the interview he asked me if I had any questions. I asked him a few basics followed by, "Is there any reason why you don't think I would be a great candidate for this position?" He told me that he thought I would be a perfect fit and he highly recommended me for the job! This is where things got weird, I completely lost contact with Accolo (the recruiting company)... I sent my recruiter multiple emails and left him a few voicemails. I called Angie's List's HR department and left a voicemail describing my situation. Never heard back. If I'm not a good candidate for the position, I understand, but I was told differently. I'm just not sure why I can't get answers from anyone. It's just common courtesy to let a candidate know if it's a dead end.

Got a call and went in for an initial interview. Two people interviewed me, one is the manager over the "bullpen" or new sales representative department. The other was a manager in training.
It was very quick. It lasted less than 30 minutes. He pushed me on sales, wanting to know my philosophy and processes. He wanted to know how I would sell and react when I was struggling. He was very honest about the position, the pay, and the stress.
I got an offer within another week.
I heard that they added a personality assessment to the hiring process after I was hired.
