I first had an excel assessment sent me by email, I completed and sent it back by the end of the day. Then I had a phone interview with a recruiter. They contacted me with positive outcome and we set an appointment for the interview on Zoom.
After a one hour interview with two colleagues, I got rejected to move forward to the next step.
As I was referred by a friend of mine and heard only good things about the company, I'm quite surprised with the shape of things that were going on in the interview.
The job description and the requirements of the department supervisor were unrelated. As we move on in the interview I had to check the job description couple of times to make sure I'm in the right interview for the right role. She mentioned two software that must be known for this role and I had no idea. It wasn't also in the job description. The only qualifications she was looking for are analytical skills which were there, and deep knowledge of other software. Not only excel and SAP. She even mentioned at some point that she needs someone closer to IT skills and didn't even listen about my social, interpersonal skills. And this is a starter position paying 39k/brutt a month. How do you expect someone expertized all these IT related skills and work in a starting position...
During the process of the interview, I was also unsure if it's an informal type of interview. At many points of the interview I've been interrupted before I complete my sentence, their face impressions would change by the things that I was explaining as if they are mocking off me, and their language wasn't just right. Especially one of them, who were talking as if I'm a friend of his or someone he just knew for a long time. It might be the reason that we found out that I'm not the right fit for this job anyway, I felt many times a sense of disrespect. I had many interviews with the top companies and I never felt this way before.
