Anheuser-Busch interview questions

Initially received an interest email requesting I take a personality test online and complete their online application. Then I got scheduled for a phone screening. The interviewer threw me off by asking me the 2 questions I wrote here. I figured anybody with a brain would know why anyone joins a professional organization (to gain additional knowledge, network, obtain an affiliation and ultimately just to list it on your resume!!)

I met with a couple of the leads, and then met with the GM of the Biergarten and answered some questions about my previous work history. Then went on and did a tour to learn about the history of Anheuser-Busch.
