Interview with HR and senior management went well. Interview with department manager and peer wasn't what I was expecting. Peer interviewer had different job requirements than what I applied to and spent 10 - 15 minutes reviewing why I wasnt qualified for the position. The manager spent most of the time telling me I couldn't "hide in the job." Called back for more interview and met with the department manager again who, upon entering the room stated she didn't know why she was interviewing me again - WOW! I asked what she was looking for in a successful candidate as she replied she was looking for the "perfect candidate" (good luck) and didn't know if she could take the time to train me.
