Submitted an application online and received an invitation for a phone interview.
The phone interview was 15 minutes with very basic questions, but the recruiter didn't seem to know much about the organization when I asked her questions. She told me she had recently started after I asked multiple questions about company culture, work life balance, etc. that she couldn't answer.
The next step in the process was an in person interview. She said she would follow up within the next week and a half but never did, so I assumed I was not moving forward in the interview process.
Less formally structured than comparable firms, very conversational. Spoke with lead recruiter and senior manager. Impressive and growing firm with a good culture that values their employees. Very much valued people that fit their culture and industry/functional interests.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Ankura (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Sep 2025
Interview
There will be maximum 3 rounds- 1st will be Hr round, second will be manager round then last would be director round- show confidence and knowledge on the topic asked if not aware just show you are eager to learn and grow
Had an in-person first round. Mix of behavioral and technical. Ghosted by Ankura afterwards. No response to follow-ups. Other consulting firms are reasonable about providing updates; apparently not Ankura. They'll waste your time.
