Applied online and received a phone interview request about two weeks later. The interview itself was fine--the interviewer was friendly and courteous. But after the interview I heard nothing back and and did not get a formal rejection. This seems to be a pretty common practice among hiring managers, but it is still frustrating as an applicant to take the time to apply and interview, and not be shown the respect of basic communication (it takes two minutes to write an email saying that you've moved forward with another applicant).
