Recruiter call followed by two technical rounds (system design & coding).
Yikes. Don't know if the interviewer was simply having a bad day or what. Kept interrupting me, not letting me talk. Contradictory statements in the same sentence. Interview was more suited to a higher-level role, and after clarifying that I wasn't accidentally in the wrong interview, interviewer became condescending. I stated that I simply did not expect this type of interview based on the job description and what the recruiter had said. Interviewer said I "better not say that again" in the next round, and insinuated that the coding round "might be hard for [me]" because I "didn't really know how to code" and had "no hands-on experience" coding.
My understanding was that I would have had to work with this person daily. I thought I would have been rejected based on how poorly the interview went but to my surprise they tried to schedule the coding round. No thanks, I'm dodging a bullet.
