I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aon in Oct 2023
Interview
A recruiter on Handshake reached out to me to apply for a position at Aon. I asked for more details and they did not respond. I applied anyway. I received an invitation for a phone interview about a week later. Afterward, I received and accepted another offer, so I withdrew my application. The phone interview was poorly organized. From what I understand, HR or another hiring manager required my interviewer to ask me questions that should have been included in the application itself (are you authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, etc.). For more interesting questions, she was required to record the key points of my responses while I was speaking, so the conversation felt mechanical and inauthentic. Finally, my interviewer was unfamiliar with the details of the internship itself, so she was unable to answer my questions at the end.

Question 1
Q: Tell me about a time you balanced conflicting priorities.
It is a very generic process, including an online assessment, a digital interview and in person interview. It was well structured and pretty smooth. Basically, they ask about your motivation and skills.
The interviewer was nice and easy going. The process was smooth until they ghosted at the very end. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would love to apply again some other time.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Aon (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
I applied a couple months before the interviews but once it started, the process was very smooth and quick. I had my first interview with someone from HR and heard back the very next week for a final round. Interviewed with the team for the final round and I heard back with an offer a day or two later. Mostly behavioral questions. Very smooth process.
