So I applied for the position, sent my resume and portfolio, got an email back that they are VERY impressed with my resume and my portfolio, and would love to take next steps with me.
In that very long email that looked like automatically generated, were instructions for mobile app assignment, asking to design two screens of a mobile app, spend no more than 6 hours on it and describe how did i spend these 6 hours, and when i submit my final design to include any sketches i might have done, a story of how did i got to my idea, the png files of the screens and a PSD file of the design (which i found odd, why do they want an open source file for my test design?) but whatever, i followed instructions, sent in everything and they ask you to go and schedule a 15 min phone call, i did that, waited for the call, no one called, so i called them, the girl i was scheduled to talk to was not available, and then i got an email from her saying that they dont call anyone, i have to call them on that scheduled time, rescheduled again, called and it was very strange conversation, basically they make this call for you to ask them any questions, not the other way around... so if you are interviewing with them, make sure to make a list of questions before you call.
Overall, it was a very strange and not the most pleasing experience...
