I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at AppDynamics (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and we scheduled a phone interview. From there I had an additional phone interview with the hiring manager, after which I was scheduled for an onsite 4 person interview. I knew there were 2 of us in contention for the role, and the recruiter was very open and honest about it. I ended up not being selected, however the recruiter said to hand tight and there could be an additional opening soon. Fast forward about 2 months later, and sure enough, there is an opening. Came back in for a meeting with a different team and about a day later I accepted the position.

HR were good and fair to start with understanding my skills and experience. Unfortunately the job did not match these which was not clear from initial conversations. Odd questions at round two I.e how do l present via different mediums not a focussed question and rather wide in scope. This included telephone asking how present rather strange
